![]() Plug in a light gun and dispense justice in LETHAL ENFORCERS I & II.Lethal Enforcers II: Gun Fighters (Sega CD) review Lethal Enforcers I & II contains the Konami coin-op shooters Lethal Enforcers & Lethal Enforcers II: Gunfighters both on one disc. The games both share a similar gameplay structure with digitized enemy targets "popping up" on screen and simply needing to be shot down before they take a shot at you.The original game places you as a 1990s police officer fighting bank robbers, Chinese Mafia and drug dealers while in the sequel you are now a Sheriff up against more bank robbers and wrong doing but now set in the Old West. Lethal Enforcers can be played with either a standard game pad or for more of an authentic arcade experience, the Konami Hyperblaster light gun. LETHAL ENFORCERS I: you must put a stop to an evil plot involving organized crime. You’ll blast mafia hit men and explore a modern urban landscape, which includes docks and a Chinatown district. LETHAL ENFORCERS II: In this sequel to Lethal Enforcers you are the sheriff of a town set in the old Wild West. Using the control pad or Konami's own Justifier lightgun, you'll be taking out outlaws who are robbing banks and kidnapping innocents. You have the opportunity to upgrade and keep you gun, as long as you don't shoot the people you are trying to save. The action is usually shown on a single screen with enemies "popping out" from various sections. If you do not shoot them in time they will either shoot or throw various weapons at you. You will lose energy if they hit you or you hit an innocent civilian. Lethal Enforcers 1 & 2 for the PlayStation enjoy special sound and graphic improvements, while ensuring all the fast-paced shooting action you'd expect set against two unique scenarios. Lethal Enforcers 1 puts gamers in the heat of the big city, fighting crime on the toughest battleground there is - the naked streets. ( internal X & Internal Y= Very High, Stretching mode: Stretch to full window size, render Mode: 2 (Use framebuffer object) text filt = 2 FPS limit= 63, Compatibility=2,3,2 Shader effects= 5 (GLSlang Files (gpuPeteOGL2-slv/slf)) Massive firepower, including shotguns, gatling guns, rifles, and more High Resolution version of two of our most popular arcade games Meanwhile, Lethal Enforcers 2-Gunfighters pits gamers against the roughest, toughest stock the ol' west has to offer in this ultimate test of grit, guts and guns. We have to question ourselves, why are we here, what is the purpose of this and other forums like it? For the love of coin op gaming? To learn something new? the banter? If it all boils down to collecting arcade pieces and preserving them, well in a way are we no different than the guy with the listing? I mean arcade pieces were made as revenue generators, selling entertainment and endorphin rushes a moment at a time. What makes the collecting and such here good, and that not so good? Happy players lingered in bars longer, and spent more. So here we are buying, sourcing parts, restoring collecting games. Some do it for the love of it, some do it for profit. I would be hard pressed anyone who recently sold off a game did so at the same price they bought it for. My point was, like it or not, it could be a thing. IF someone lives in a 1 bedroom 3rd floor walk up, but NEEDS to have say, a dedicated Lethal Enforcers in their place, maybe something like this might make them happy until they move. I have seen people collect and buy some weird stuff over the years. I don't have to like or agree with it, but to dismiss any possibility of it happening is just a form of tunnel vision.Īt least in my opinion, however unpopular as it may be. I do understand where you are coming from.
